Part # - LIPLEX EP2 500G Liplex EP2 Grease is a "state-of-art", high-tech grease. It is an NLGI No.2 multipurpose, extreme pressure, high melting point, lithium complex grease which contains a tackiness agent. It offers significant advantages over conventional soap based and clay based greases in terms of shear stability, thermal stability, water resistance and pumpability. It has a high drop point and is suitable for continuous service up to 140°C.
RECOMMENDED FOR
Liplex EP2 may be used in all applications where high thermal and oxidation stability and high water resistance is required. It may be used where either soap based or clay based greases are recommended, particularly where rationalisation of grease types is required.
These applications include automotive, industrial, mining, earthmoving and marine applications such as wheel bearings, chassis, pre-packed and sealed-for-life bearings in steel, cement, sugar, mining and other heavy industries, boat trailer wheel bearings, outboard motor fittings, winches, splines, cables, rollers and linkages.
Usable temperature range in continuous service is -25 to 140°C.
Maximum temperature for short term exposure is 220°C.
